Early literacy skills can be built in many ways. We start out by introducing children to picture books, phonemic awareness, ABC activities and then finally we like to see children emerge into reading on the own.
One of my favorite ways to get children engaged in early literacy is by having them participate in ABC activities on a daily basis. Today I’d like to share with you a simple activity that supports letter identification in early learners. Not only is it fun and engaging…it’s easy to create and frugal! Who doesn’t like that?
ABC Popsicle Stick Puzzles are sure to be a hit with the children in your life! With just a few thrifty supplies, you’ll be glad you did it!
I just recently joined this amazing team of creators and am honored to be a part of an awesome community that creates resources for families looking to support their children with reading/writing! Check it out!
