What I DO love about candy corn is you can do SO many fun projects and games with it AND the kids think it’s delicious! So, it’s a win, win for mommy.
Here is another fun candy corn activity!
Use the sharpie marker to write numbers on the mini pumpkinsOnce I numbered the mini pumpkins, I then placed all of the pumpkins into a large orange bowl. My son then reached in and grabbed a pumpkin out at random.
He then read the number out loud and then placed that many pieces of candy corn inside the pumpkin until all pumpkins were filled. The best part of course, is when I let him pick a couple of candy corn filled pumpkins to eat!
Here are a couple of other ideas for this activity:
- Roll dice and then find the pumpkin to fill with the matching number
- Once the pumpkins are filled, have child then remove the candy corn from them by counting backwards
- Practice writing numbers on a whiteboard with a dry erase marker
Don’t you just LOVE quick, easy, FUN activities?!
