Breakfast is the best meal of the day. End of story. Baby showers are joyous occasions. Put the two together and you can create the most delicious Baby Shower Waffle Bar your guests will never forget!
Baby Shower Waffle Bar
The women in my family are incredibly generous, talented and connoisseurs of all things…food. We can’t help it. We love to cook and bake and we show love by feeding one another.
Here are tips and a peek into a recent baby boy themed baby shower that we created for our sweet cousin, who’s due with her 1st baby in December!
A Recipe to Remember…
When hosting a baby shower waffle bar, you must have an incredible waffle recipe.
Here is the delicious Pumpkin Spice Waffle Recipe we used.
Secondly, you should have a variety of toppings available for your guests.
{seeing these vintage glass plates reminds me of this amazing baby shower}
We enjoyed these toppings:
- Maple Syrup
- Preserves
- Cool Whip
- Fresh Strawberries
- Butter
Don’t forget some delicious sides!
We went with:
- Spinach and Artichoke Quiche {here’s a recipe}
- Breakfast Potatoes {here’s a recipe}
- Hard boiled eggs
- Croissants stuffed with bacon
- Sausage patties
Let the Games Begin!
Once we had stuffed ourselves full we settled in for some games.
Here are 2 games that I had never experienced at a baby shower and they were awesome!
{I’ve included Amazon links for your shopping convenience}
Safety Pins in a Bowl of Rice
This game was SO hard! Each player is blind fold
Baby Shower Jeopardy
This game was hilarious! I was surprised at how bad I was at it. Each player had the chance to select a category and point amount.
The first person to shout out the answer to the question got to keep the card with the points on it. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
For game assembly we used card stock
We then used a whiteboard easel

Oh my goodness, this is so cute! And what a great idea using waffles! We have a couple of women in our church who are expecting soon, I’ll have to keep these ideas in mind when we plan the shower. Thanks for the inspiration!

Do you have more info on the baby jepordy? I would love to use what you did!
Hi Noelle! Sure thing! This game was created just by looking up certain facts and then copy/paste/print it all together in a document. I recently updated it and it’s actually an added bonus to my new Baby Shower eBook that launches this week! In the meantime, if you sign up here (http://bit.ly/2a1txWb) you’ll get access to my FREE baby shower planning pack AND you’ll be in the know about the launch of the eBook and launch week specials. Hint: A PDF of the Jeopardy game is my added bonus for those who purchase in the first 24 hours. I’m also giving away a Jeopardy game already assembled on adorable card stock to one of the first buyers of the eBook. Thanks so much for reading! Good luck in your planning and let me know if you have any other questions! 🙂
