I really enjoy Workbox/Center time as it gives me the chance to sit down with my kiddos individually to work on skills and concepts that they need extra help with. It really helps me to know that my other 2 children are actively engaged in learning and practice while I work with their sibling. (Truth be told, I will also take advantage of their independent work time to throw in a load of laundry or put a meal in the crock pot.)
Each kiddo has their own “work box”

Grab and Go Baggie Activities
This is an alternative to the workboxes. I read an idea on Pinterest where a mom made up baggies with independent activities in them so that kids could pick one and get to work. She placed them on a rolling cart so she could move it from room to room. The children were previously introduced to the game and activities so that this could be individual work time. You can choose to have the baggies be for one person or two person activities.
I hope you found some ideas to help you create your own workboxes. Feel free to ask questions in the comments!
