I had the honor of helping with a Baby Girl Elephant Baby Shower for one of my dearest friends! She said that she wanted a baby shower that was pink, grey and elephants! How adorable is that?
Baby Girl Elephant Baby Shower
When my friend’s sweet sister invited me to help out I was thrilled! As you know…baby showers are kind of my jam! I was even more super excited when she shared the theme with me. Elephants!
Here’s a peek into the details of this beautiful day for a very special lady! Let’s begin with decor.

Baby Shower Banner
My first step in preparing this adorable baby shower for my dear friend was to create a banner. I like to start with creating a banner because it sets the stage for the decorative elements of the baby shower. You know how much I LOVE to make banners!
{I’ve included Amazon links for your shopping convenience}
Step #1
Gather your banner pieces. Either cut them using the cricut, print your own on your PC, or grab some pre-cut alphabet letters
I went with a circular banner piece for the base, a crafting doily for the middle layer
Since I made 2 different banners, I cut small letters and large letters from the cricut machine.
One banner says, “Cecelia,” since our guest of honor has already named her little one, and the second banner says, “Sweet Baby Girl,” because I think that’s just precious!
Step #2
Layer your banner pieces and glue them with either a glue stick
Step #3
Once you’ve assembled your banner pieces, now you will need to use a hole punch
Be sure to punch 2 holes into the top of each banner piece. This will help keep the banner pieces facing forward along the banner tulle
Step #4
Add some bling! I always have so much fun doing this part. You could use peel and stick gems
I also like to cut tiny pieces of ribbon or tulle and tie knots in between each banner piece to add more cuteness!
Step #5
Tie one large bow at each end of your banner for easy hanging!
I am in love with these Baby Girl Baby Shower Banners!
Now, onto the rest of the details for this adorable Elephant Theme Baby Shower!
Perfectly Pink Details
Desserts:
How stinkin’ adorable is this elephant cake?! These are homemade cupcakes with grey buttercream frosting perfectly placed in the shape of an elephant.
Use pretty card stock
Since mom-to-be is a fan of all things chocolate and sweet, her loving sister created this adorable floral donut tower as a centerpiece and also included a beautiful apothecary jar
Who would have known that animal crackers and donuts could make the perfect centerpieces!?
A Little Bit of Fun
Activities:
We created this advice jar with mom-to-be in mind. She already has 4 kiddos and so I thought it might be more appropriate to give her words of encouragement and simply tell her why she’s already a great mom!
Using the cricut
A diaper raffle is a great way to make sure mom and dad have a stock of diapers
Guests bring a pack of diapers to the baby shower and then simply drop their note card with their name on it in the raffle bag.
How cute is this jar?! Even though we didn’t get the chance to play this game, it’s still a baby shower “must do” activity.
To make this activity, just use a mason jar
Fill the jar with paper ribbon
A cute mason jar game in minutes. Each guest then pulls a strand of the ribbon out of the jar and then cuts the strand for how big around they think mom-to-be’s pregnant belly is.
Don’t you just LOVE this baby shower guest book idea! What a wonderful way to display and remember baby shower guests.
Each guest signs a balloon upon arriving. After the party, glue each balloon onto this precious wall art piece for mom-to-be to hang in baby’s room.
We had a wonderful, blessed afternoon celebrating a very special lady! I have to tell you how much love there was for this precious baby and momma. It’s incredible to think that little Cecilia is already loved so much. Just a few short days and we will all be meeting her!
We hope that you’ve found a thing or two useful in helping you plan your next baby shower!
