I have a confession to make…I don’t have a “green thumb” but I LOVE to be out in a garden. We planted a garden in our backyard a few years ago and had a blast doing it…and then we moved 2 months later! Since then we have adopted the gardening tactic where you make your back porch beautiful with pretty potted plants! I had so much fun getting my kids in on the action when we made these Thumbprint Flower Pots!
Thumbprint Flower Pots
I surprised my kiddos one morning when I suggested planting little pots of flowers for our back porch. They were especially thrown when I said, “what if we ditch the paint brushes and use our fingers to paint beautiful spring and summer scenes on our flower pots?” They were thrilled at the chance to paint with their hands!
With just a few inexpensive supplies we were able to create lasting memories and make our back porch pretty with this Thumbprint Flower Pot craft!
It’s the perfect crafting activity to do with your children on a lazy Spring morning or mild summer day!
